Where the money goes

CandyForKids is reader-supported. Some links in our guides are affiliate links: if you buy through them, the store pays us a small commission. You pay the same price either way.

How we use it

The money goes back to kids who can't afford treats: candy and goodie bags, help with their education, and other support, plus what it costs to run this site and grow the drive.

  • Candy and treats for kids who go without
  • Education and other support for kids in need
  • Running the site and growing the drive

We'll publish the exact split after our first full year of guides.

What we've funded before

In 2020, when COVID-19 stopped the candy drive, we raised money instead and covered school costs for two children through nanhikali.org. Since then, candy has gone to children in the Dominican Republic (2022), Mexico (2023) and an orphanage for girls who are blind (2024). Read our story.

Who we are

CandyForKids is a family-run project, started by Arjun Garg in 2015 and run by youth volunteers. We're not a registered charity.

Our rules

  • We choose products by their labels, ingredients and allergy information, whether or not a link earns money.
  • Every page with affiliate links says so at the top.
  • Brands can't pay to be included or to rank higher.
  • Donations made to the candy drive are kept separate from affiliate income.
